This rare variety of Kikar & Ajwain honey was collected from our bee boxes kept in Kangan, Srinagar. The nectar was collected by the bees kept in the vicinity of wildly growing Robinia pseudoacacia & Trachyspermum ammi – commonly known as Kikar/Acacia & Ajwain in the Himalayas. It is 100% raw, unpasteurized and unprocessed. While harvesting, it is filtered traditionally to remove pollen, beeswax, and honeycombs and then bottled.
Origin: Dual origin (means the bees collect nectar from two flower types available in their vicinity). Collected from Kangan, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
Flavor : Nutty, smoky, earthy, fruity.

Directions:
Serving recommendation: Approximately 25ml of honey is required to replace 30ml of white sugar. (You need lesser quantity of honey to replace white sugar with same sweetness)
Storage recommendation: Store tightly sealed jar of honey in cool, dry, and dark locations. Do not put it in the refrigerator.
Crystallization of honey: Crystallization of raw honey is a natural process and depends primarily upon the climatic conditions & ratio of natural sugars present in different varieties of honey. Raw honey crystallizes more in low-temperature zones.
De-crystallization: Placing the jar of honey in a pot of mild hot water or in direct sunlight for some time will melt the crystals and turn it liquid again.
Wax & Pollen: As we filter our honey traditionally at the source, you may see very few traces of wax or bee pollen in the honey.
